Thematic Scope:

Research Abstracts and/or Case Reports will be received on the topic of Paracoccidioidomycosis and other endemic systemic mycoses.

Submission Guidelines:

1. Submission Method: Submissions must be made through the designated web page (Restricted Area). Submissions via other means (e.g., email, fax) will not be accepted. The web page will be available until the closing date of 30/10/2024. Abstracts submitted after this date will not be considered.
2. Language: Abstracts must be submitted in English. Abstracts in other languages will not be evaluated.
3. Format: The recommended format for sending Research Summaries and Case Reports can be found in the sequence below.
4. Confirmation of Submission: After submitting the abstract, you will receive a notification confirming that it has been entered into the system for evaluation. This notification does not constitute proof of acceptance.
5. Peer Review: Abstracts will undergo a peer review process. The final decision will be made by the Scientific Committee. You will be informed of the decision via the contact email provided, within the stipulated time frame.
6. Registration Requirement: Authors of submitted abstracts must be registered for the event.

Eligibility:

• Submissions will only be reviewed from participants who are registered for in-person attendance. Participants registered for online attendance are not eligible to submit papers.

Content Restrictions:

• Submissions of literature reviews or will not be accepted.

Format Requirements:

• To ensure uniformity and standardization, Research Abstracts and/or Case Reports must be submitted in .doc format, following the provided templates. This approach will facilitate a more efficient review and evaluation process.

Author Identification:

• In the list of authors, the presenter should be indicated with an underline. The presenting author does not necessarily need to be the first author.

Presentation Format:

• Accepted abstracts will be prepared as posters/banners following the guidelines provided in the “Instructions for Creating Banners” section. They will be presented as a Poster Pitch Presentation (see specific instructions in the Instructions for “Poster Pitch Presentation” section).
